Punchline (Cartoon Collection)
Irfaan’s first cartoon collection Punchline was published in 1998 by Pharos Media & Publishing Pvt. Ltd. Dedicated to his late mother Rashida Begum, the book mainly contains his work published in The Asian Age and The Economic Times. These cartoons, covering a wide range of subjects from local matters to international issues, also are a satire on the Indian political system. My Delhi (Cartoon Collection)
Irfaan’s second collection of cartoons, My Delhi, published by Wheeler Publishing, was targeted at the problems faced by Delhi. But according to the author, such difficulties are faced by almost every city in its day-to-day life. He chose to represent these issues under Delhi’s name since being the capital of India, Delhi serves as home to people from all parts of the country. The Art of Electoral War (Illustrated)
A book by Mr. Madhuker Upadhyay, The Art of Electoral War was published in 2004. It was illustrated by Irfaan, a work he truly enjoyed for the content and the interest it generated.The book talks about tactics used in the Electoral Battle, and how to cope with them. It gains prominence especially in a country like India, where politics is a part of everybody’s life. It was translated in Hindi by the name Chunaavi Yudhdhkala.

Kargil Kartoons (Combined Collection)
In continuity with the exhibition on the Battle of Kargil, cartoonists brought out a book on the subject in 1999.Irfaan contributed eight cartoons, out of which seven were on the former Pakistan Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif.

Discovered Questions (NCERT Text Book)
Irfaan also illustrated for the book Discovered Questions by Professor Yash Pal and Rahul Pal. It gives an unusual question-answer session on science for young readers.The book carries around two hundred illustrations by Irfaan and is great fun to read when mingled with these figures. Their colours are awesome and make dreary science a fun learning experience.

Unni and Munni (NCERT Text Book)
Irfaan designed two characters- Unni and Munni for NCERT’s new set of textbooks. The two have so far appeared in the textbooks for Political Science, i.e., Indian Constitution at Work for class 11th. They will re-appear in books for class X and XII as well. They keep appearing every now and then and ask questions from a child’s point of view.
